After the Student Representative Council (SRC) of Kuantan Campus was dissolved during their Annual General Meeting (AGM) in 2019, Student Union Working Committee (SUWC) was then formed to further continue the establishment of IIUM Student Union especially in Kuantan Campus. During the tenureship of Student Union Working Committee, several engagements, initiatives and discussion concerning the establishment have been made. SUWC also had a meet and greet session with Prof Dato' Dr. Arif Bin Osman, our previous Deputy Campus Director Student Development and Community Engagement (DCDSDCE) regarding the establishment. To conclude, SUWC organized a forum with Sr. Idayu Mumtaz, one of the forerunners of Student Union in Gombak campus together with the appointment of the Student Union Pro Tem Committee (SUPC).
